Mountain Roads Recordings signs the fantastic new
bluegrass gospel group "Wheeler"
October 22, 2008
Mountain Roads Recordings of Bristol, Tennessee announced today
the signing of "Wheeler" from Weber
City, Virginia.
Kevin and Tiffany Wheeler, Mark Jackson, Justin Salyer and Steven
Mounts are Wheeler: a bluegrass gospel band with the purest vocals, harmony and
superb musicianship. Established in April 2008, the band wants to bring their
upbeat music to festivals and bluegrass venues, reaching out with their
particular style of bluegrass gospel music.
Tiffany sings lead/harmony vocals; Kevin sings lead/harmony
vocals and plays the bass; Mark sings lead/harmony vocals and plays the
mandolin; Justin plays the guitar and Steven plays the banjo.
Karl Cooler says, “We are so excited to have Wheeler on our
label. The purest vocals and harmony reaches right down into your heart and
grabs you from the moment the first note is released. Kevin, Mark, Justin and
Steven play their respective instruments with expertise and joy, Tiffany’s
vocals are angelic; they delight everyone who listens to them wherever they
perform.”

Mountain Roads
Recordings was formed by Karl and Gail Cooler in order to focus on the unique
sounds that originate in the mountains; Wheeler fits perfectly with this vision.
The members assembled are some of the finest musicians performing bluegrass
gospel music and we are excited to be associated with this group. The group's
first release with Mountain Roads Recordings is scheduled for early 2009.
